Big News Year Kick Off
Wednesday, January 30, 2013
5:30 to 8 PM
Westlake Village Inn
2012 was a big news year with the Presidential election and devastation of Superstorm Sandy. But 2013 is the 50th Anniversary of 1963, arguably the biggest news year in a generation with the Kennedy assassination, the Beatles coming to America and the beginning of Vatican II.
Fifty years on we find ourselves at a time of transformational changes in the beginning of another big news decade. How will you tell your story in 2013? What media will you use? And how will your story build value in your organization? How will you invest in your future?
To help you plan for a successful year we’ll have leading journalists, best-selling authors, books for sale and plenty of great wine and food for you to sample. Authors will be available to sign their books which will also be available for purchase. A portion of the book and ticket sales will go to Casa Pacifica, serving at-risk children in our region since 1988.
The price of admission is your $20 donation. To register for this event please visit
